American Building Systems International (ABSI)

In line with thepresent administration’s housing agenda, ABSI Building Systems Int’l and its consortium led by American Building Systems International Inc. of Texas, USA and Nucor Corporation, America’s largest Steel Producer and a fortune 500 Company with 2020 annual revenue of about than 20 Billion US Dollars have partnered with the US Export and Import Bank (US EXIM Bank)to bridge the Nigerian housing divide and provide quality, affordable housing delivery to Nigerians. The Consortium has signed an MOU with the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation (OHCSF) to provide affordable housing to federal civil servants under the Federal Integrated Staff Housing (FISH) Programme.

The project was launched by President Mohammadu Buhari, GCFR on the 1st of August 2016.The project is a flagship city development that promises to invigorate the Nigerian housing market while providing urban expansion and ensuring sustainable economic growth.

ABSI has established through its extensive research that the missing link to bridging the housing divide is the deployment of appropriate technology that delivers quality and affordable housing at a fast rate with the lowest possible construction cost as well as the affordable construction financing facility like the one offered by ABSI through its strategic relationship with the US Export and Import Bank (US EXIM Bank) and other local Financial Institutions and Banks  at single digit interest rate.

In response to the above need, ABSI has invested its equity and has deployed its proprietary steel frame factory and technology to Abuja-Nigeria and has several on-going projects in partnership with the FCT and has formed a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) with the Federal Ministry of Power, Works and Housing to provide affordable houses across the six (6) Geo-Political Zones.

ABSI proposes mixed-use master-planned and integrated communities that will offer a lifestyle that captures the very best that Abuja city has to offer like good and quality housing units of international standard, with in-built premium lifestyle amenities and quality infrastructure such as roads, water, waste disposal, power distribution and sewerage.

The ABSI Apo Villa Estate is located gracefully at Apo hills behind Apo Resettlement overlooking Abuja City Center. By the completion of the Apo South-East sector road currently under construction, it could take about 10 -15 minutes from the project location to the Federal Secretariat.
